On September 3rd local time, the Royal Society of Canada announced the list of elected members for 2024. This year, a total of 104 scholars from the Academy of Sciences, the Academy of Arts and Humanities, and the Academy of Social Sciences were selected as members of the Royal Society. These scientists were elected by their peers for their outstanding academic, scientific, and artistic achievements.

The Royal Society of Canada (RSC) was founded in 1882 and consists of the Academy of Arts and Humanities, the Academy of Sciences, and the School of New Scholars, Arts and Sciences. RSC recognizes talents who have made outstanding contributions to society by providing advice and promoting a culture of knowledge and innovation in other colleges in Canada and around the world. RSC currently has over 2000 academicians, and being a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada is the highest honor in the fields of arts, social sciences, and sciences in Canada.
