Recently, the International Institute of Engineering Psychology (IIEP) was delighted to learn that our long-term advisor and collaborator, Professor Pan Yi, Dean of the School of Computer Science and Control Engineering at Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIAT, note: "Shenzhou University of Science and Technology" in the original text should be a typo, and the correct name is "Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology"), has been successfully elected as a 2024 IES (International Engineering and Science) Distinguished Fellow. IIEP extends our warmest congratulations on this joyful occasion and expresses our highest respect to Professor Pan Yi.

Professor Pan Yi, a leading figure in the field of bioinformatics, has achieved remarkable accomplishments in the interdisciplinary research of computer science and bioinformatics. With a solid research background in cloud computing, big data analytics, artificial intelligence, and deep learning, he has made breakthroughs in bioinformatics and medical informatics. Professor Pan Yi has published numerous high-quality SCI journal articles, many of which have appeared in top-tier academic journals, and his academic contributions have been widely cited, significantly contributing to the advancement of related fields.

Professor Pan Yi's election is not only recognition of his outstanding academic achievements but also acknowledgment of his sustained contributions to the field of engineering technology. As a long-time advisor to IIEP, Professor Pan Yi has actively participated in our academic exchanges and research activities, providing valuable suggestions and support for IIEP's development. His election brings honor to IIEP and further enhances our international influence in the fields of engineering psychology and engineering technology.
